This natural lip balm in a glass jar contains 8% ghee as its active ingredient - clarified organic butter, as used in Ayurveda for centuries to treat internal and external dryness. Ghee is considered particularly sattvic, deeply nourishing, and balancing. It contains no water or lactose, but instead valuable fatty acids that support the skin barrier, promote wound healing, and help retain moisture.

The lip balm also contains rich castor, jojoba, and broccoli seed oils, nourishing bisabolol, and our own evening primrose oil extract. Evening primrose is rich in omega-6 fatty acids, has skin-soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, and is traditionally used for very dry, sensitive, or irritated skin. Our evening primroses grow in Vorarlberg, Austria, and are harvested by hand after sunset and infused in oil that same night.

This balm can be used during the day for dry lips, but it's also ideal as an intensive overnight treatment. Very dry skin areas such as the corners of the mouth, cuticles, elbows, or rough patches on the face also benefit from its rich yet gentle texture.
